5 Easy Ways to Make Your Apartment More Cozy For the Holidays

5 Easy Ways to Make Your Apartment More Cozy For the Holidays - WorldWideStylista

It’s official… winter is here. So let’s get cozy! Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year to snuggle up in my room, watch Christmas movies and bake warm chocolate chip cookies. There is something about this season that makes you want to be surrounded by all the cozy things and enjoy the coziness all month long.

A few days ago I shared my first gift guide this season featuring cozy items from PBteen, and today I’m sharing how I styled these items in my apartment this year to make my room a little cozier for the holidays. These are easy tips that you can easily incorporate into any space!

5 Easy Ways to Make Your Apartment More Cozy For the Holidays

1) Add string lights

Like I mentioned in my gift guide, strands of string lights are not only a great gift idea but a perfect way to make any room feel warm and romantic. You can hang them on the wall, in a cozy wall space or even outside.

2) Put up a Christmas tree

Even if you have a small apartment, Christmas trees come in all different colors and sizes and are a quick and simple way to get in the holiday spirit. I found this pre-lit rose gold tree at Walmart for only $20!

3) Light a holiday scented candle

You can never have enough candles! This one is from Flamingo Candles, but there are endless holiday scents that you can find in stores, online or in your closet at home.

4) Cuddle up with a throw blanket

Grab your favorite fuzzy throw blanket from your closet (or snag this one that’s on sale at PBteen). Even when you’re not using them to cuddle up underneath during cold winter nights watching Christmas movies, they are a great accent piece to add onto beds, couches or bean bags.

5) Make hot cocoa in a cute mug

Hot cocoa. Check. Cute mug. Check! If you’re not feeling hot cocoa, you can always brew up some tea, coffee, chai, hot apple cider or whatever else you’re in the mood to sip on during a cozy night in.

I saw that tree yesterday and thought it was so cute, I love the silver and the price. How could you beat $20. Your place looks great.

I need to string up my lights! You are so right, it is such a great way to add warm soft light to a space. And a good use of vertical space, too!
