Happy #MotivationMonday, loves! To kick off the first official day of summer, I’ve recently partnered with Adore Me to share with you a little more info about their newest endeavor: activewear! From lingerie to swimwear, Adore Me always has trendy and comfortable sets – and their workout section is no exception. This set was the first to catch my eye (I also got it in green!) The capris were just a tad long on me, but the mesh panelling and back zipper detail were too cute to pass on. Also, how cute is the back cutout on this sports bra?
Ever since school ended, I’ve been making an effort to get outside more often and make healthier lifestyle choices. Today I’m sharing 5 tips to better your health that have been really helpful in my own life lately!
1) Take a hike.
One of the easiest ways to work out without feeling like such a drag is getting outside and enjoying nature. One of my favorite spots is Top of the World in Laguna Beach (where these photos were taken.) It’s a long drive up, but the view is definitely worth it!
2) Sign up for a class.
Check your local Groupon listings for Yoga or fitness studios that sounds like a good fit for you. I’m a huge fan of Piloxing and Pilates, which I’ve been challenging myself with the last few weeks at HB Pilates.
3) Find a hobby.
Your mental health is just as important as your physical. No matter what it is, trying out new things is a great way to rejuvenate. Whether it’s sewing, cooking, music, photography, or even blogging, just make sure to find something you’re passionate about.
4) Positive thoughts = positive results.
You are what you think. And when you have a positive attitude, you are much more likely to achieve positive results!
5) Smile more.
Smiling and laughing is good for the soul. If you’re feeling down and not sure where to find happiness, look to the little things: like watching the sun rise and set, puppies, or licking cake batter off the spoon.
