This year it was one of my goals to get healthier and unfortunately this last month I have not been exercising as much as I planned to. The hardest part is always getting started. How do you start working out again when it’s been a while (and you’re totally comfortable on the couch?!) I totally understand the struggle… the holiday season was rough for me and I’ve been eating a little too much dessert lately. The first step that always gets me motivated is finding cute workout clothes. Because let’s face it: when you have cute workout clothes, you are 10x more likely to be motivated to actually work out. When I saw Skechers new spring styles, it gave me that extra motivation I desperately needed.
Do you remember these floral sneakers from my Valentine’s Day Gift Guide a few weeks ago? I loved the style of them so much I knew I had to get a pair for myself! These kicks are padded with an air cooled memory foam insole to keep your feet cushioned and comfortable. The fun floral print makes them cute enough to not only wear with workout gear, but could also be styled for casual out and about looks with jeans, shorts, or even dresses.
My go-to workout outfit typically always includes leggings. One major problem I usually face with leggings is the length (#shortgirlproblems) and even when labeled “cropped”, most of the time they still don’t hit me in the right spot! This is one of the reasons why I love Old Navy and their incredible online petite section. These black leggings are one of my favorites because they go with basically any outfit, and really let the sneakers stand out in this look. I totally forgot about this floral sports bra from a few years ago hiding in the back of my closet until I realized that it matched perfectly with my new Skechers. I was so inspired that I decided it was time to start getting serious and head to the beach for some light workouts with Kimberly.
