Hi loves! First of all, I have some really exciting news to share with you. Over the last few months, my following has been growing and I’ve met so many inspiring, creative entrepreneurs that I’ve been able to get to know and support through Instagram and different blogging groups. So to say thank you to all of you, I’ve partnered with Shop the Mint to bring you a $25 Giftcard Giveaway (which is where this adorable romper is from)! Normally everyone thinks of rompers as a spring/summer only garment but I’m here to show you how rompers can easily be transitioned into the fall and winter seasons too. This romper from Shop the Mint caught my eye with its delicate lace off the shoulder detail. It looked like a piece that I could easily wear year round with just a few styling adjustments. Here are my top three styling tips on for wearing rompers in the fall!
1. Choose a Fall Color
If you choose a darker color, like navy, olive or maroon it automatically makes your outfit have more of a “fall” feel.
2. Pair it With Socks + Booties
Basically whenever you add booties to an outfit, it automatically makes it look more like a fall outfit. This autumn season has been pretty warm in the OC, so basically the trick is all about faking it by wearing dresses and rompers and adding booties. I dug out my favorite navy Christmas socks from my closet to complete the look!
3. Add Layers
Cardigans, sweaters, and scarves are just a few ways to accessorize your romper for fall. You can always tie them around your waist or take them off if it gets too hot, or bundle up when it gets colder.
