Tarte Rainbow Spring Lookbook

Tarte Yogurt 4

When Tarte reached out to me about collaborating together, I was seriously so excited to try it out! I’d heard of this yogurt brand before but had no idea on just how much I was missing out on. If you haven’t checked out their Insta feed, it consists of a color-blocking theme corresponding to each color yogurt, creating the most epic photo rainbow. I was so inspired by this idea that it lead me to think a little out of the box and try something I’ve never done before: to create a colorful lookbook featuring some matching monochromatic spring outfits!

Kimberly and I had been talking about venturing out to Abbot Kinney to do a Venice Wall Crawl and explore the nearby shops and streets, so this was the perfect opportunity to check it out.  I brought my yogurts along with me in a mini cooler, and got the chance to try each flavor out after shooting each look. My favorite ended up being the Mango & Coconut but I was pleasantly surprised with how much I liked each one! What’s great about Vietnamese yogurt is that it has a high amount of protein similar to Greek yogurt, but has a smoother and creamier texture along with subtly sweet flavors. The fun packaging translated into some fun outfit photos too – check them out below! :)

I had the best time letting my creative juices flow while shooting this lookbook! The bright colors and flavors totally brightened up my day, that it got me thinking about getting these photos printed out for me to keep for inspiration… I’ve had my eye on Social Print Studio’s photobooks and just might have to frame this spring lookbook for inspo! What do you guys think?

Please let me know if you enjoyed this post and would like to see similar ones in the future. Also, if you’ve tried Tarte before leave me a comment and let me know what your favorite flavor is!

Thank you so much Samira!! We have to go shoot in Venice soon! It was hard for us to find too, we had to ask some of the locals to find it! It’s hiding at the very end of the street in an alleyway down Alhambra. xoxo
