This weekend my blogger babe Bridget Gomez from Over the Bridge and I went on a little adventure to the Griffith Observatory in LA. I’m on the road to finishing up my GE’s with an Astronomy class right now, and was offered extra credit for visiting certain science-related museums. Bridget had been here once before while she was taking the class, so she showed me around the exhibits since it was my first time. It was already pretty crowded by the time we arrived so we didn’t stay for too long, but we were able to see all the highlights including the jewel wall, the pendulum, moon exhibits, and the live model of our solar galaxy where we got to weigh ourselves on each planet! It’s definitely a must-see for both tourists and LA natives.
It was a cloudy, drizzly Saturday so I wore my faux leather leggings, black Steve Madden booties, and a lightweight cardigan to keep me warm. This was the first week that SoCal really got to experience April showers, but I decided to style myself with a little pop of color with my sister’s tropical Kaitlyn tank to keep my look feeling more spring than fall/winter.
What I’m Wearing // Kaitlyn top c/o my sister, TJ Maxx leggings, Nordstrom Rack cardigan, Steve Madden booties, NY&Co. handbag (sold out), Kaitlyn & Laurenly necklaces, Honeycat ring and bracelet, Sonix phone case
